The Corporate Transparency Act of 2020

The Corporate Transparency Act of 2020 will require corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and similar entities formed or registered to do business in the United States to report and verify the identity of their beneficial owners.  Covered entities will need to file a report with FinCEN – the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network – at the time of their formation. Covered entities formed before the regulations issue will have less than two years to file an initial report. Covered entities must amend their reports within one year of any change in their beneficial ownership. For more information visit:  https://doesfincenapplytomycompany.com/ or https://fincenreport.com
